How We Built a High-Performance Travel Platform for FlyMounte Using Next.js 15 & AI

We built on Next.js 15 with the App Router and React 19 — the latest versions available. Animations: GSAP + ScrollTrigger + Lenis

The hero section alone features multi-layer parallax with clouds, mountains, birds, and foreground elements moving at different speeds as you scroll. We used GSAP with ScrollTrigger for scroll-driven animations, Framer Motion for UI transitions, and Lenis for buttery-smooth scrolling — all GPU-accelerated for 60fps performance even on mobile.

We integrated Payload CMS 3.0 as a headless content management system, but it does far more than manage content. It’s the backbone of FlyMounte’s lead capture strategy:

• Form Builder Plugin — FlyMounte’s marketing team creates new lead capture forms from the admin panel, no code required
• Multiple lead touchpoints — Hero booking form, itinerary planner, callback requests, email capture dialogs, and contact forms
• Cloudflare Turnstile integration for bot protection
• Rate limiting — 5 submissions per IP per minute to prevent spam
• Form submission tracking — every lead is stored, searchable, and exportable from the admin dashboard

Content collections include Destinations (50+ fields with tabbed content and seasonal info), Packages (with itineraries, pricing, and categories), Blogs (SEO-optimized with rich text), and Testimonials (with star ratings and featured flags).

We developed a custom AI chatbot trained specifically on FlyMounte’s data — destinations, packages, pricing, seasonal recommendations, and local travel tips.
